Howdy!
Old Wall in Tongeren |
Unfortunately our only solid investigator (A) has become not sosolid. He hasn't shown up to the past 2 appointments we were suppose
to have, and he lied did not come to church. The goodnews is we have 3 appointments set up for this next week with newinvestigators. So hopefully we can get some more solid people fromthat group.
Other than that the week was fairly uneventful. We did a lot ofcontacting. We had lunch with some members on Friday that live out in the country side. It was really beautiful and she cooked some bomb food. Additionally, she gave us 1.5 kilos of hand made cheese she made herself. It is so good. Elder Kendrick and I have been putting it on everything. Haha.

On Saturday, we went to Brussels for Elder Kendrick's District Leader
Training Meeting. It was really fun to be back in my home town. The result of the meeting is basically President Babin is becoming a lot stricter. Haha. It's kind of scary. Zeros are no longer allowed for stats we send in and he introduced a district finding day. Once a week, the whole district goes to a companionship's sector and contacts all day in that sector. We can't schedule any appointments that day. Just 7 hours of straight contacting. It doesn't sound like the most fun but with the Lord's help I know we can see miracles and have a fun time.

On Monday, the new missionary couple took us to Ikea for lunch. That place is so good. You get an amazing meal and then have the fun of
walking through the maze. Food and entertainment. There is nothing better. Haha. We then went to a city called Tongeren. Apparently, it is the oldest city in Belgium. It was fun to walk around and learn
more about Elder and Sister Slaughter. They are really cool people.
Have a great week.
God Bless
Elder Hein
